COURSE DESCRIPTION
This course further focuses on various practical aspects of navigation – from using paper charts to navigation using electronic devices, responsibilities of the boat operator, handling a boat under sail, environmental awareness and electrical hazards.
ONLINE APPROACH
This online
course consists of seven weekly instructor-facilitated group sessions
and up to three one-on-one personal support with a CPS-ECP tutor.
Course material
includes a paper copy or electronic course manual, a training chart
and handy reference material.
All lessons are
in video format which are available 24/7.
During the
online sessions the course material “lesson” is reviewed, student
questions are answered, and challenge questions are posed to by the
instructor ensure the key points of the lesson is understood.
